Have you seen some of the latest pedal cars for kids? Boy have they come on a bit since my day when you had a choice of one colour and that was it. The sky really is the limit and if you have a budding construction engineer on your hands then some of the fantastic front loaders have to be seen to be believed and tick all the right boxes on the authenticity front for sure.

I seem to remember my own pedal car being pretty heavy and cumbersome and took a fair amount of leg work and effort to get going. Not so with any of the new models out, they are made from lightweight, durable materials which not only make for fantastic fun but, they are extremely practical in all weathers.

Sometimes we take the simple things for granted but given the right kind of inspiration and motivation children really can occupy themselves for ages without much in the way of technical gadgets or adult help. I think that with the addition of a few well thought of accessories you can give any child the amazing gift of good old fashioned play.
